Enjoyed this course so much! It was very windy on the day out, but the course was set in such a wonderful landscape with so many challenges to face! Halfway house was a delight. The course was super dry as expected during winter but I would love to see this course in summer!

Proper links golf course seriously challenging. Great bar, halfway and restaurant. Very reasonable mid-week golf specials. Thanks to our hosts for a great day.

Golf has been played in Scotland on Links Golf Courses for over 400 years !

Golf has been played in Benoni in abandoned quarries for a much shorter period of time!
You would think this would mean the Ebotse experience would be a watered down links experience…. But it isn’t! From the moment you stand on the first tee you feel like you’re on an authentic links with meter high grass blowing in the wind and very little golf course in sight due to the “rising ground” which is what the word links Scottish hlinc” means. If you haven’t visited, put Ebotse on your bucket list, and bring some extra balls she’s a narrow beast and punishes severely if you stray from the path.

Awesome that they have a monthly market on the 1st Sat of the month. The stalls are great with hand made grafts and gifts, the food court has a wide variety of food and drink so you are spoiled for choice. The atmosphere is fun and there is enough space for your picnic blanket overlooking the dam.
Enjoy some awesome coffee, hot or cold drinks and yummy food

I hosted my sisters baby shower in the Katze room at the estate and all I can say is WOW. This place is not only beautiful but the staff are just amazing. From the start right to the end I received so much support and assistance. I would like to thank Joshua, Tatjana, Alrich, Happy and Charity for making this event such a success. Everything was ready on time and nothing was too much to ask for. They kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything. Your service was sensational and I would highly recommend you guys and most definately come back again. Thank you!

Loved it!! The course layout provides a true links experience (in my limited view). With June being the winter period in South Africa, the course was generally dry and spectacularly fast in terms of fairway roll and green speed. Slopes on the greens make for some really exciting and at times, daunting putts. As the 3rd time playing at Ebotse my only concern was the problem of "overbooking" as we were advised. It's been the first time our group experienced a 30min delay in tee off time due to unavailability of carts. Perhaps management could look into this "cart unavailability issue" and put in place measures to mitigate it. At the same time however it must be noted that Ebotse mantains exceptionally high standards in general and will always be one of my favourite golfing venues. See photos attached (Winter conditions!)

I personally don't play golf however it isn't all about that, the people are friendly (except for a few as one would expect from anywhere in the world). There are numerous bicycle tracks to ride throughout the estate followed by a child friendly speed limit meaning you may cycle along the road with confidence. There is a decent and peaceful restaurant within the estate too. There are also many peaceful places well suited for sitting in the calm of nature and/or taking photos with loved ones.
