This review is for the Gounden's Restaurant in Edenvale. Went through quite late last night around 19:00, food was prepared fresh and tasted delicious. Had a mutton bunny and sugar beans with trotters bunny, was totally yum! In my humble opinion, best bunny chows and curries in Johannesburg! Keep up the excellence guys...I'll be back!

Very chill and clean even though the shop is small they made everything fit well with some chair outside for good breeze and is in northmead town hard to miss with big board out..seems to be a very busy store as well so call for your order if you at work and don’t have time to seat and dine in.. we just forgot to check the plastic bag before leaving that we had less spoons ???? but all in all they very lovely people easy to talk to

Excellent service food prepared original Durban style curries samosas were great served by Fani will definitely come back Goudens restaurant and take away Links field road

The chicken breyani was delicious with many chicken pieces. The roti was also excellent. Full of rich flavor. I really enjoyed it. The Lamb samosas were also good but on the small side. Overall the food was excellent.

I always buy bunnychows which are so delish, apart from the really expensive price... today i bought chips and viennas for the 1st time for my son... 1st they gave me viennas instead of chicken nuggets.. and then they gave me they chicken nuggets which look great on the outside.. but is raw inside.. not to mention the chips.. my son didnt even want to eat it and hot chips are his absolute fave.. so disappointed

Verry good Indian food with authentic Indian flavor. Absolutely the best food for these cold winter days and nights. We are ordering from Goudens for over 9 years and still enjoying the food.

I have looked forward to a Bunny Chow for so long; we tried this place but with great disappointment.

The price for a Bunny Chow was very expensive but we thought if it tastes nice it is worth it.

I didn't have ONE PIECE of meat in my Bunny Chow; only sauce, two small pieces of potato, bones and gooey weird things. And the salad included with the Bunny Chow was this packet of carrots - misleading saying you get a SALAD included.

This was really VERY disappointing and a complete rip-off!!!!! Eating take-aways is a luxury and this was an utter waste of money!
