This gym is far below Virgin Actives' standards. Management not interested in keeping the place clean, even after bringing it to head office's attention. Really shoddy and inadequate for the town of Benoni. Sort it out Virgin Active.

The place is always clean, you can start right away with your gym session.

The gym equipment is good and clean, and the staff are (over) friendly, but the environment is not great.
Bathrooms start clean but members fix that before 8am.
If you are looking for an 8kg kettle bell you won't find it, and good luck trying to find weights in the correct slots because they aren't put back and the trainers would rather watch the swimmers than encourage good gym etiquette.

It's easy to see why it was considered a "downgrade" moving from the Vanderbijlpark Virgin Active (which is awesome - solid and consistent 5/5)

This club is closed but Google has not been updated. So I drove all the way for nothing :-(

I used to train here but it is really so backward compared to the other gyms. Has a very dull and dingy look. The staff are friendly and welcoming....the toilet..steam area needs much to be desired... toilets are tidied in morning i think and then it becomes a dump
many times unpleasant odour. Even the tiles look filthy. It would be great if the entire gym is overhauled. Good size swimming pool. . I hope the management relooks at changeroom and toilet areas.....

This gym is so dodge, its falling apart, desperately needs a revamp, calling is dirty, aircons dont work, staff unfriendly. The area and parking feel dangerous and unorganized. There is only one entrance so it feels like a high jacking hotspot. It's a no go for me!

" gonna need a bigger pool ".........best to swim in the morning.....not so busy!

Can always use the gym till the pool quietens down and you can get your own lane.....
