Food was great. Staff were great. Giving this rating because the people running this Spur need a reminder that rotating tables is the way they make money. Arrived around 18:00 and left around 19:15. In this time watch the team turn away about 8 customers while the restaurant was empty. Mr owner, change your policy else customers won’t bother.

I wish I could give them a -1 star. I am not a person who complains a lot but unfortunately I can not keep quiet this time. My husband turned 25 on Sunday. As usual, we go to Spur on a birthday or any other special day. Sunday, we had a horrible experience. Where should I begin. The waitress never introduced herself. She was MIA most of the time. We ordered Bar One milkshakes. There was NO Bar One in the milkshakes. It was more like a vanilla milkshahe. My husband got a hair in his milkshake. Then we ordered our main meals. After 40 minutes, when our meals eventually arrived, the waiter forgot to bring as cutlery and one side meal. We asked her, and waited for 10 minutes just to bring us cutlery. Our food were cold at the time we were actually geared to enjoy our meal. During our meal, we ordered cold drinks from another waiter because our waiter was MIA again. We asked for the bill and waited for about 15 minutes. Spur was not even busy. I am extremely disappointed. That was not the way we wanted to celebrate a birthday at Spur.

Had a lovely time there. The food was really good and the staff were super friendly. One thing that just bugged me were the bathrooms, they are way small and there is only two, but other than that I'd go their again.

The "normal" Spur experience, great to have access to indoor play area for the kids and a really nice touch to have the cameras broadcasting a livestream of the play area to monitors in dining area, tags on the kids for extra safety etc. Good service and quality portions.

Spur, however, is not an "average family" restaurant from a pricing perspective anymore, they became really pricey when compared to some fine dining establishments in our city (or town if you consider Bloem as rural) that are similarly priced or even less expensive in some cases.

What a wonderful experience!
Lerato 1 was absolutely exceptional!
And when they showed the measures that they go to in safeguarding my daughter in the play area while E.D (not certain of the spelling of the playroom attendants' name) took every care of my daughter, I was sold!
Well done and thank you Silver Chief Spur!

Best Spur I've been to in a long while. The place was packed, but yet the service was excellent. Management was visible and the waiter was friendly and efficient. Food was great.
