I know Carnival City since they started the small Casino many years ago and was invited as a guest with the opening of this new and grand Carnival City Casino and Hotel. Those days, there were strict rules to adhere to when visiting the Casino. Security, dressed in elegant black suits, were visible all the time and no one misbehaved.
But for the past few years, you will find that there are always people just sitting around, being drunk, fast asleep because they stayed overnight, having a loud conversation behind you and making remarks, which is very irritating, watch you playing, whilst they are not at all.
In the beginning years of Carnival City, this was not allowed, no matter who you were and how many machines were not being used. If you dare to sit next to your spouse/friend playing, you were told that seating is only for players. But lately the use of empty chairs are mostly used for loud chit chats or having a meal.
Cards are being placed in not 1 machine, but 2 or more and off we go for breakfast, or the most popular machines are kept for certain people, no matter for how long, who on arrival will give the card holder money. I am amazed to see how many cards some people have, 5 or more and I am sure they did not pay for it.
I had 2 cards, my Gold and old Platinum, but lost my platinum card at Carnival and wanted an extra card again. I was informed that I will have to pay for it.
A few months ago I was playing on a slot machine and left the machine to answer a call which lasted approximately 2 minutes. On returning a nother person was playing on the machine. I was informed by the player, that she called a floor assistant to remove my card, because she wanted to play on it. If I would have done this, I would be called a rasist and been shouted at. I have seen this altercation happen next to me, which was an unpleasant experience. Arriving early in the morning, the place is a mess, the bottom of the machine or the carpeted floor are being used as an ashtray. Chips, tissues, empty cigarette boxes/beer cans and sanitizing cloths are all over the place.
New carpets are being installed, which look so amazing, but I am afraid to say, this is not going to stay clean for very long. Even the toilets, which were so beautifully modernized, are in a very bad state already.
Just take a look at Emperors Palace. No new toilets or carpets at all.
How to educate all players at Carnival City to appreciate and take care of any changes and upgrades being made, seems to be impossible.
