· Very disorganised. Felt uncomfortable, felt like we were staying in a student commune and were in their space. The kitchen was not very clean including the crockery and utensils which I had to re-clean before using.On the first morning I went to make breakfast and the bread was mouldy I did not even want to try the cereal, we never had breakfast there again. Our room had no fan and was extremely hot, we had to sleep with our windows open and got attacked by mosquitoes. Property advertises BBQ/Braai facilitates which I don’t think had used for years before we had a braai, it started falling apart as we were using it. The communal toilets and showers were dirty. Secure parking is advertised but is quite a distance away from the property and not safe as we had an in counter with two undesirables, if we had known this we would not have booked here. When we wanted to check out there was also no one at reception. It’s hard to distinguish between who works there and who’s actually a guest which also makes it easy for people to come and go. I understand this is a backpackers and not luxury accommodation, but for the money that was paid I did expect slightly more cleanliness and professionalism. I would not recommend or revisit
