We really enjoyed visiting Bertha's Restuarant in Simon Town.Berthas is situated on the harbour with a beautiful view overlooking the boats that are docked. The food was really delicious- we had fish and chips and a salad. Ashley, our waiter, was very friendly and gave us excellent service. The Manageress was very friendly as well. I mention this as I saw previous comments regarding the staff and as a foodie who does a lot of reviews, service is really important to me. The dessert looked delicious as well, but we will come back to try it at a later stage. Definitely worth a visit!

I've been twice at the restaurant and the food is AMAZING. 4 stars for the amazing seafood and 1 star for the staff's attitude. I truly believe that 90% of the staff needs a attitude makeover. Training about customer service, especially the hostess. But overall well done to those prawns !

Literally perfection!

Amazing service.
Amazing location outlooking the waters and boats.
Amazing food portion, honestly they are not stingy at all!
Love love their prawns.

Had a hankering for seafood and was impressed with the Linefish (Cardinal) which was divine u0026 the grilled calamari u0026 prawns was mouthwateringly delicious. Was a good choice with salad as the side. The cocktails are a bit bland, but the food u0026 view more than made up for it. Well worth a visit to the mini Simonstown harbour. Also some fun canoeing u0026 SUP outings on offer.

The food was excellent and the view is spectacular. Only thing i would reccomend is getting more waiters/staff, as we felt a bit neglected. But we could see they trying their best to attend to all the customers.

Very pleasant as the weather was fantastic. Outside seating was amazing, although the food was good, it was nothing to rave about. The chips were dry and unpalatable.
