What a hidden gem!! In the corner of Jubilee Square, Simonstown is this laid back, friendly, chilled spot called Fran's Place!!!!! The outside deck has view of the yachts, Naval ships, ocean and more. Oh yes, the statue honouring AB Just Nuisance is also just a few meters away and other really interesting parts of history. Sorry I digress. Frans Place is simply awesome! The food is great, very reasonably priced, the portions are huge, chilled wine and friendly staff. A massive thumbs up! We WILL be back, often!!!!!!

Cheap place. In a beautiful point of Simon's town. A chorale just for us. We gave cash to support.
Good taste. But horrible expresso or too strong, don't know. Nice team. Good portions. We are enough. We recommend.

Good quality food with very respectable portion sizes for the price! The service is on point and food was prepared well.

The view you get from the outside is beautiful, I would recommend sitting there even if it’s a little windy.

Just off Main Road in Simonstown. Overlooking the Harbour. Nice little restaurant catering for non smoking and smokers. They have a good menu. Beet to try 3 egg omelet. Choice of any 3 filling.

GEM of SIMONS TOWN. Hidden gem, with absolute value for money. Portion sizes are large, food is tasty and location is beautiful. I will definitely be back for more. Had the best lunch and it was such a beautiful setting

Absolutely delicious!! Value for money and Fran herself comes out at the end of the evening to greet her customers, a really lovely lady! Her staff are wonderful too!

Fran’s Place really exceeded my expectations today. Friendly relaxed staff, not rushing us, followed by a mouthwatering meal - all very well priced. Then had the chance to thank Fran herself, only to find out she worked at the previous Restaurant in the same spot. Now doing it for herself. Fran may you and your staff keep up the friendly atmosphere and great tasting work. We will most certainly be back when in town again.
