We all miss it driving the Kirstenbosch, but thus is a beautiful green lung with big old trees. Not manicured, but do receive maintenance and clean up. You can run, mountain bike or hike along the river. While I was there the Arums were in full flower - what a joy!

Love this ever changing nature walk through the seasons. My dog also loves running and having dip in the river.

I am sad to hear that they want to develop the space for residential use… what a shame … an absolute beaut of place with very wide range of fauna … also great place to walk your dog

Beautiful forested and grassy space that’s been left to grow wild but that’s all part of its charm. I love to come here to feel nature ease life’s stresses away.

Awesome place to find peace, walk the dog, reflect and meditate. It's a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle, and it's slap-bang in the middle of the lush suburbs. A beautiful babbling brook rushing through from the nearby mountain makes it even more enchanting.

A hidden gem in the Newlands area. Beautiful natural pathways thorough the bush reveal a surprisingly large area to explore with young kids. Rough and ready, a change of pace from manicured Kirstenbosch.

A beautiful walking park with a sml rivulet. It needs to be cut back and opened up a little bit. The brush is very overwhelming....definately not for a solitary walk. Also heavily frequented by dogs...whose owners just shout.sorry.from afar after their dog jumps onto one of ur kids!! A quick affair and off to the next park.
