Tranquil and Gorgeous! Very little water flowing but enough for any youngun and oldie to dip our feet in. It even has a little nook for about 8/10 kids where u can book a little party! Graceful wooden pathway snakes down to be close to the water and other little accesible pathways. Pure joy is being barefoot with a tadpole net!! Time stands still here and memories of "best day ever" are created. Benches are dotted along the walkway so u can chat with ur partner while the kids explore the river.

Stunning example of community driven public upliftment. What was once an overgrown bank of alien vegetation has become a stabilised and cultured terraced garden with benches, tables for picnics and super kid friendly stream for splashing in. Good work BCVA.

Beautifully kept public gardens. Hidden treasure amongst the hustle and bustle of the suburbs. Great little spot to get away to!

One of my favourite outdoor areas in Cape Town. Great picnic areas. Kids love playing in the river.
