Lovely hotel. Great outdoor spaces if the weather is good, the scenery is beautiful. Rooms were comfortable. Staff very friendly. It does feels a bit run down in certain ways compared to other hotels in this class. Disappointing that the gym facilities have restricting times - I like to train early and thats not quite possible.

Lovely dinner in the main restaurant, as the smaller (pizza) restaurant was closed for winter.
Wide range of dishes, including options for vegetarians and pescatarians.
Service was attentive but slightly patchy once the restaurant filled up.
Good wine list, with many options available by the glass.

If you are looking for a great spot for lunch for adults and children, the Vineyard Hotel certainly doesn't disappoint. Children's menu offers a variety of meals that are not only delicious but nutritional balance as well. And the cocktails.... another level. We were very impressed.

Most beautiful hotel in Capetown! The garden and the view is amazing- and they have turtles. Service is top and super helpful/friendly. We will come back for sure!

I stayed here for a week and there is nothing I can complain about.
Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast menu. Clean and well furnished rooms.
Giving it 5-star because it truly deserves it

I stayed at the Vineyard for one week on business. Unfortunately, a pair of earrings were stolen from my room during my stay.

I informed the hotel staff. While they stated they would recover my earrings and that they took the matter seriously, they repeatedly stated that my earrings were "lost" rather than stolen. Their reasoning was that the one member of their housekeeping staff who entered my room did not report seeing the earrings.

To my knowledge, they took no corrective actions. Unfortunately, this had a very negative impact on my stay at the hotel.

If you are travelling to this hotel, I would beware of the security of your valued possessions. While there is a safe in the room, it is not large enough to fit everything.

Very friendly and helpful staff from driving in to reception to room service!
Had a lovely spacious room,comfortable bed, overlooking a lovely garden,
Room had a bar fridge.
Modern bathroom with shower and bath option.
