Absolutely awesome restaurant. Great service, lovely venue, top menu. Only 4 stars as table sharing is uncomfortably too close. Rather 8 at a table than 10. Literally can’t move your arm to eat. Had the 4 tasting plate special plus a bottle of wine between 2. and over R500 per head. Def a special treat (for which I would love some privacy)

Fire monkey ???? was a fantastic experience. For 4 plates at R300 per person, you simply can’t go wrong. Personal favorites included the baby shrimp tempura snacks, as well as the chili salt squid.

A delicious experience. Great cocktails. Wonderful food, presentation and interesting flavours. Service good when present.

Wow! What amazing food. Try the salt squid and the Tokyo tacos. Service was incredible. The waiter helped us through the menu and made fantastic recommendations. So happy to have this option in Newlands. Great to have an outdoor option for summer.

Incredible! Absolutely everything about this restaurant has been well thought out. It is a beautiful venue.
The food is nothing short of amazing. Each dish is a work of art with such fantastic flavour combinations. Each plate we tried was stunning.
Service is excellent, very attentive staff even a week into opening and on a busy night.

Very slow and poor service.
Delicious food, unfortunately let down by very very slow service. Waiters stood about 1m away from our table but didnt offer drinks, we were there for about 15 min before we were offered drinks, only received our drinks more than 30min after arrival. We ordered our food had 4 courses which was recommended by our waiter. We arrived at 6:45pm and where the last to leave just before 11pm.
Service and very slow food really let downown what would have been a wonderful experience.

Great Asian Restaurant with an elegant Fine Dining touch, just dont expect comfort food. The pork belly with coconut laksa was my personal favourite, however I thought that they used too much Gochujang paste on the wings(maybe dilute paste with a little water next time before tossing wings in it, I'm sure this will improve the richness immensely)
