Cape Point Route

This was a fantastic way to experience the cape peninsula and all it has to offer. I have done the route several times with my husband, but this time I was here with a friend who had never been. We decided to book a tour so she could see everything she's heard me talk about so much, and it was well worth it! Our guide - Anna Marie - was fantastic! So full of knowledge, very flexible with the plan, and very friendly. She took us to a fantastic place for lunch (The Hub, in Scarborough) and was more than willing to just go with the flow and see where we ended up. At the end of the day, though it was long and we had seen a lot of things, we both felt very relaxed and were very happy with the experience as a whole. Definitely worth it!

This trip was exceptionally excellent. Christopher Smith, our tour guide was punctual, professional and very well on point in his knowledge of Cape Town. He has a great sense of humor and made the entire tour such a breeze for my kids and I, he is very good and gentle with the kids which made it work out well for me as I was reluctant to do the tour with them especially because it is a whole day tour, everything turned out perfectly and we all had a great time. My son actually asked for uncle the following day after the tour had ended.

My family and I did the Cape Point Bike and Hike tour this December 2016 and had a great experience. Our guide, Sele, was informative and friendly. The only downside of the tour was that it felt a bit rushed at points, but we were able to see many attractions in one day because of the pace, so the rush may have been worth it. Would definitely recommend! Also good to note that biking is not mandatory during this tour; one member of my family did not bike and still had a great experience.

Great company with whom to book a private tour from Cape Town. We arranged a full day tour via email and it could not have been easier or smoother. We needed to pay cash instead of using a credit card, and we were accommodated with no fuss. Our tour was personalized, including just what we wanted to focus on, and our guide was amazing. Recommended without any hesitation.

This trip was outstanding. Christopher the tour guide was punctual, professional and well knowledgeable in the history of Cape Town. He added little personal touch and he has strong interpersonal skills - knows how to make you feel relaxed u0026 enjoy the trip as he cracks a few jokes here and there. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

Friendly and organized to a point. As soon as I started getting more specific and trying to get more information and details about the tours, they started to become impatient. So much so that I almost went with another company. I feel that when I book a private tour, I should be able to dictate specifically what I want out of it. Also, the owner of the cape point route should know that the customer is always right and should have been more patient and understanding. Cape Town was new to me and I many questions to make this a perfect tour. I would not go through this middle man again. Go directly to the best tour company in Cape Town, PG Tops Travel and Tours.

Great trip and very affordable. Great guide/driver. I could have used some more time hiking at Cape Point which is a truly stunning site and perhaps skipped the Botanical Gardens which are more ordinary, but this is a matter of taste; the trip was certainly comprehensive! Recommended.
