Great hotel. Very reasonable price for hotel pickup. Food very good and reasonable in The Famous Butchers Grill and also the breakfast was good. The staff are very helpful and the rooms are cleaned to a great degree every day. The only issues I had are the following:

1. The room I was in was very noisy as it was main road facing. It was hard to sleep at times due to the noise, perhaps soundproofing a bit more could be achieved?

2. The air conditioning system was extremely loud so if you have it on at night it’s impossible to sleep, and sometimes it gets really warm at night

3. I emailed them afterwards asking about lost property and they have yet to respond several days later

I wouldn't recommend. This might be a cheap hotel but they charge R100 a day to park your car. The parking is a nightmare. They try to utilize all spaces and very often you get parked in. The staff at reception and breakfast are very unfriendly. The hotel doesn't cope will with loadshedding I had 4 cold showers in the 4 days I stayed there. Breakfast if you arrive after 8am you will be lucky to find food and the staff with not replace food items that are finished. If you stay for business the supper is restricted to the Butcher Grill and the menu is very limiting for people with special dietary needs. I honestly dreaded everyday I stayed there and will not even consider that hotel again. The road leading to the hotel looks very unsafe and there is a tavern next door to the hotel and the taxis are permanently parked outside the hotel. I did not feel safe in the least. The bathroom is a tub with a shower within it not ideal for the elderly or overweight people.

My stay was just awful. The staff is very rude, if you are going to stay at this hotel be aware of this. Parking is charged separately, which makes no sense and I warn you that it is expensive. In addition, the restaurant makes no attempt to be inviting. My room was open all afternoon for three days because the cleaning staff left it open. The pool closes VERY early. At check out the woman lost her patience and started screaming, it was horrible. Oh, and they even charge extra things at checkout. So pay attention to your consumption because they added chocolates and beers to the bill that were not consumed. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Great place to live for the night. They do offer parking but at a price. The surrounding area I would not call great but on the inside is clean and professional. Service was superb and thank you for handling everything so quick. Even the deposit eft back was quick. Would recommend the place, just let someone drop you off.

Front desk staff were great. Location easily gets you to most places. My room faced table mt, i was lucky. Cleaning nice. Showers great. Linen clean. Basic tv. I arrived late on one night out, the front door was locked they didnt communicate what you do of you are late. Gym available. I liked my stay.

A great place to have any event. Lara, Natasha and their team were exceptional. The entire staff welcomed us and our guests with open arms, we still get compliments about what a great venue it was.

Rooms are clean and modern. Parking requires you to drive up a very steep ramp and then walk down the same steep ramp as there's no lift from the parking level to the lobby. In reverse, you need to walk up steep ramp to get to parking level, so parking is a problem. Otherwise very pleasant hotel.
