Lovely place in Cape Town CBD. Had supper there and the food was excellent.
Had a very nice waitress. Friendly and attentive.
Very relaxing with live piano music in the background.
I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a good meal as part of a night out with your better half.

I'm staying at the Cape Town Lodge, where this restaurant is situated. It's not a misteak to eat here, the starter you can see in my photos was huge, so make sure you're hungry or there won't be mushroom left for the amazing steak and chips. The onion rings were crispy and delicious, and run rings around other onion rings I've had. Honestly very very good, highly recommend!

Excellent food. I went three times during my trip. On one occasion I ordered the steak/wings combo with a side of chips for the main and it’s was excellent, then went for the Famous Chocolate orgasm for dessert and it was incredible. The only problem I had was that it was too much for one person. Really top quality food and the staff were excellent. I also got water and two beers (Windhoek and Castle Lite) which all came to R360 so also very reasonable.

Had an awesome time. Food was fresh and simply delicious. Staff are very friendly, the Manager and waiter was very attentive. I want to say thank you so much for your amazing service. Our waiter Dr Victor is such a loving caring person. I recommend the famous butchers grill over and over u0026 I thank you once again for the great service waiter/Dr Victor. I will definitely be back soon. Keep up the great work.

The ambience u0026 interior decor is stunning. The food I had there was mostly good.. their fillet steaks are just great. I had a bit of a disappointment with my ribs, but the Manager made up u0026 rectified the situation. That was appreciated. So will go back ; moreso , in the evening, when they have some awesome live music. The 2 gents who played jazz , there one Saturday, was most enjoyable. You can make song requests from this duo. Was lovely. I recommend the restaurant. Zelda

We went for supper to celebrate our anniversary. As we've been a few times we were sure the service and food would be amazing. They delivered excellent service and we enjoyed a live band that played jazz music which is a favourite of ours. Will definitely be back ????????
