The date night option on Thursdays is value for money. The food was divine and didn't take long to arrive. The sweet potato chips were amazing. Friendly service.
Being a bit fussy I don't really like the location or the decor of the restaurant. But the food definitely makes up for it. I'd definitely go back.

Absolutely beautiful date night meal at Cattle Baron! Three courses with wine - amazing value for money! Each course was better than the next! Service by the gracious Otto was exceptional. Highly recommended

Worst experience ever! First the waitress asked if we would like bread to start. We said yes and she brought one single slice of toast bread….

Then the savory rice is the worst thing I’ve ever tasted! And I sent back for chips and the chips were cold. We both ordered fillets medium and one was not cooked at all.

When they brought it back they covered it with cheap bbq sauce…

DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE!

Terrible, if I could give no star I would. Looking at the reviews something has changed recently. Compared to the Stellenbosch Cattle Baron, day and night! I ordered the pork belly, which came with no mustard in the mash, strawberry jam and not apple puree. No crackling and looks like someone pulled off the crackling. Bland vegatables. Dated crockery and cutlery, badly covered benches, dated decore. Shocked they charged before the drinks considering the food was so bad. Advice: go eat in the CB in Stellenbosch and see what you're doing wrong.

Nothing beats a steak menu by cattle Baron. Awesome experience. Peaceful dining. Great atmosphere, succulent steaks catered for every size meat lover. Best cheesecake I've had in awhile. Definitely a regular for me

Very accommodating staff. Lovely family environment. The food was great! Milkshakes great! Caroline, our waitress was great! :)
