Literally stumbled across Charmi's Coffee House on a busy day of shopping.

This little coffee shop is so warm and inviting. Something that we could probably give thanks to the owner for. He welcomed us and took our order. All savouries and delicacies he makes himself.

Charmi's Coffee House is Halaal so you don't have to settle for just having a hot beverage.
We ordered his chicken and feta cheese quiche and WOW! ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY!

The setup is cute and cosy. Nothing pretentious or extravagant. Ideal for breakfast dates or on the go quick meals.

Will definitely be back! ????

What a horrible experience.. I asked the owner the price of his chicken pie, he responded saying it was R20. I sat down with my pie and coffee, and on paying, he charges me an extra R10. When i asked him why is the price increased, he tells me that the pie costs R30 because i sat down and doesn't care that he did not mention that to me...

I expressed to him in a nice manner that he did not tell me that and immediately he decides to argue with me and was extremely rude, raising his voice at me and speaking over me.

Aside from not telling me the price difference, i personally do not see why R10 extra is charged on sit down. There were no extra items on the plate served and my pie was served cold.

The barista is always so kind, helpful and asks if the customers are happy, but the way the owner treats his staff really ruins the entire atmosphere. I will never purchase from this coffee shop again and definitely do not recommend it.

Located just opposite the Good Hope Centre, this unpretentious coffee shop is a true gem. It offers a variety of coffees, raw juices made right in front of you and various sweet and savoury delicacies baked every morning by the owner himself. I have tried the Cajun chicken quiche and the cheesecake for dessert (both were delicious) and will definitely be back for more.

A lovely set little coffee shop that gives you just what you need .. a good coffee ????
Situated right opposite the Goodhope Centre, still within the city centre, but with surrounding free parking
I had a hazelnut latte and Cajun chicken pie, which I thoroughly enjoyed
We'll be back there from time to time. Also, the shop is fully halaal

This place was terrible. Terrible experience.

They have different prices for "take away" and "sit down". I bought a "sit down" coffee as I needed to sit and do some work whilst awaiting my friend. I was later joined by my friend who bought a "take away" muffin.
Perhaps my friend misunderstood something about the fact that it's to be eaten out of the café or something but she at next to me and nibbled it as she waited for me to finish.
The moment she started eating it, the proprietor of the establishment began starring at us in great disdain, approached the employee at the counter, who then came to us and demanded my friend pay an extra R3 as she had sat down and begun eating the muffin. It was honestly the pettiest of stunts I have ever experienced and quite frankly the number one way to chase away customers. Truly shameful.

Definitely the best Coffee Shop in Cape Town for breakfast. Miloud is the owner and the shop opens at 6:30am. The shop is clean and the food is excellent. My husband and I have breakfast there very often.

Such a peaceful and relaxing place. As a student I have always passed by now as a working individual I am having my coffees here. Lovely owner, relaxing music.
