Brilliant. We thoroughly Enjoyed our Week Long Stay. Lovely location, a brisk walk from the vibrant Vu0026A Waterfront. Very friendly Staff, made us feel very comfortable. Our room was clean and tidy, overall real value for money. Also the breakfast was enjoyable and wide spread, catering for Vegetarians as well. A real Home away from Home, will surely return. TOP OF THE POPS

Great hotel. Marked down to 4 star due to the limited items on the food menu. Sad that both chicken and beef burgers weren't up to scratch, as it's my favorite cheat when away from home.

However, if you want a great pizza and beer, they cater.

We had a wonderful few days and a great experience at the City Lodge Vu0026A. All the staff was helpful and kind. We were greeted by Chante Petersen who assisted us gladly, Thank you Chante. Rooms were clean and pricing affordable. Excellent security and parking. All the Restaurant staff also offered a wonderful service. Will definitely be back.

City Lodge Hotel gives a warm and freindly feeling as soon as you step in through the front doors.

The rooms are in excellent condition including the bathrooms. Service was good. At times during lunch, its a bit of a hassel trying to get any orders in and out quickly while keeping the food tasting absolutely delicious.

Overall my stay at city lodge was great!

The Hotel staff were very nice and professional. The cleanliness of my room was awful. The Tub was covered in a brown dust and was covered with hair. At the end of my stay I took off the sheets on my bed and the bottom of the sheets were stained yellow, patches of hair everywhere. The only reason I am giving a two star and not a one star is because the hotel staff were very friendly but the housekeeping? awful, if you are a clean freak I would search for another hotel. When I explained to the front desk about the tub, I asked for a bucket, sponge and soap to clean the tub and they brought it down and that is when I started to see the brown layer, the more I scrubbed the dirtier the tub got.

Great well located hotel. It make it very easy if you need to visit the Vu0026A waterfront. The city sightseeing bus is close to it if you would like to book a trip. The only issue is that they do not do room service. Sometimes after a long day you really don't feel like sitting in a restaurant. Especially if you are traveling on your own.

The ambience of the entire facility is truly homely and warm. The staff are friendly and the rooms are warm, it's definitely a good spot for those cold days.

The food menu and offering is a bit constricted as compared to others, but despite that the food is tantalising and appetising.

It is situated right along the canal but the view along the deck is to die for! Lighting is exquisite especially during those waking hours for some family photos or updates for your Insta. However the pool is a tad small but I guess that's what Cape Town's beach is for (lol).

Pricing is reasonable as the quality meets the buck.
