Very pricey and portions very small. Service was slow and we were there for 45 minutes before we got our first drink. I ordered a Savanna which was served with the lid on. The waitress left to fetch the bottle opener and stayed away for another 15 minutes. My seconds Savanna was also closed???? such a nice venue in the Waterfront, just a pity about the bad service and disappointing food.

Amazing place. My favourite at the Vu0026A. Not a noisy pub. Not too formal and commercial. Absolute best view and a stunning atmosphere. The staff are top notch and Phyllis stands head and shoulders above the rest. What a star! A great afternoon.

We had such a great afternoon eating yummy food, looking at a beautiful view and taking in the bliss views of the waterfront!
We had the prawn special which was plenty for the 2 of us. Could even feed 3. Comes with a 1kg prawns, salad, chips and ciabatta with a lovely bottle of wine! Great price and the perfect laid back afternoon out! Service was really on it too!

I feel at home each time we visit. this restaurant. We've gone for the breakfast buffet, their normal lunch menu and twice during restaurant week and it has been consistently good every time.

This place deserves to be on every persons check list. They serve the best breakfast. Their food menu is versatile and accommodative for picky eaters. I definate must visit when in the area.

My experience at Ginja was nothing short of amazing, the food was absolutely delicious, my partner and I prompted for the prawn special which included a bottle of wine, 16 prawns, salad AND bread, for only R550??

Though we had a waiter who KEPT asking when we were going to finish with our meal, which was quite annoying and rude, she asked a total of 4 times DURING our meal. And when we were finally finished, she cleared the table and left us for about 30 minutes to hunt her down for the bill. Mind you, we were only there for 3 hours and the restaurant was quite empty ????????u200d♀️

But either way, please do give Ginja a try! It was a real culinary experience! And the ambience is PERFECT for a date! ???? or if you want to impress the in-laws ????????

I shared a delicious meal here with my fiancée on Sunday night. We had the prawn and wine combo and it was superb - beautifully presented, tasty and more than enough food for two of us. The restaurant was cosy and comforting. The fireplaces and the music selection were a huge hit with us. Our waiter, Sylvester, was friendly, knowledgeable and provided excellent service from start to finish! We will both be recommending Ginja to everyone that we know...
