Very pleasant place for coffee and light meal. The sandwich in the picture is veg sandwich and very tasty although I am not vegetarian.
Service is warm and friendly. Entire Wharf area has lots of restaurants and shops and also street performances to enjoy.

There is something a little unsophisticated about this restaurant.. but it's a very nice place to have a casual meal during the day or in the evening, the staff are nice and attentive, the food is good and match the very reasonable prices, definitely a good choice if your at the Vu0026A waterfront and don't want to splash out on the many overpriced restaurants in this area.

Walked past this Cafe for many years. Glad we made a stop today. Sit and watch the 'world' walk past while buskers perform in front of you. The breakfast was good and the service was very friendly.

If you are looking for a nice cafe to relax and rest your feet, give Cafe Alfredo a try. We only grabbed a coffee, so I can't comment on their food, but what I can say is the coffee was delicious (one of the best I've had in a while). Our waiter was friendly and the food looked tasty.

Had a lovely lunch at Cafe Alfredo. The premises have a great view of the entertainment close by and the food is great with a large selection of dishes on the menu. Staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Great place in a great area.

If you want great coffee and the best service, this place got what you are looking for!!
Lovely outdoor seating to watch people go by and music entertainment from the small piazza in front. Good food place without the fuss. ????

I'm sorry but I have to say it's one of the worst meals I have had the in Cape Town.
The milk shake tasted like crushed ice with flavour.
The bolognaise pasta tasted like canned food. I added salt and pepper to try to make it a bit better but unfortunately it got worse (ok, my bad).
I'm adding one more star because of the location. On a nice hotel balcony in the middle of the Vu0026A Waterfront. And the server was very friendly.
