The most ideal place to grab a meal, listen to live music and have a beautiful view.

The staff are super friendly and pleasant (shout out to Tammy!)

The views of the Harbour were amazing

The food was not the best but they do have a great variety of options at really good prices.

I'll definitely return to enjoy a night out.

The food is nice. Afternoon with family, live music at night.
Oyster is lovely. Good price.
Onion ring is the best, we have to come back next day and order four more????

Did not enjoy having our meal. The tables were sticky even after cleaning them, floors littered, benches uncomfortable, the waiter wasn’t friend and the food was bad. Some of us couldn’t eat their dishes and when the waiter asked if everything was ok, it didn’t matter that we told him the fish was stale and chicken chewy and slimy. He just said we’ve been servicing these for four years and no one has complained before!
The food was served all at once, the appetizers with the main food and everything except the soup was served cold.

This restaurant is in such a great spot with a view of the harbour and boats / yatch’s / catamarans. But those are the positives.

Both our meals (calamari and chips / rice) were not great at all - you’d probably get a better deal and better quality at Spur :))) No jokes. Maybe we just caught the team on a (really) bad day. The vibe was awesome though (Friday evening, there was a live band and they were super talented). The restaurant was packed which always helps. Maybe we’ll try them again, but not anytime soon. More likely Ocean Basket ;D

I was on a mission to try fish and chips from as many places in Cape Town as I could. It was an extremely hot and busy day so it took a little while to be seated. Nothing major though. The waitress was amazing! Took my order and was super engaging despite all the tables she had to work.

The restaurant itself is perfect for a view of the harbour with friends and family. Unpretentious feel about it with a wide range of food. To be honest I was only interested in the seafood, so that was my focus. Wine menu is decent and the pricing in general is great for a casual dining spot.

The fish and chips were a winner. Light batter, fluffy and most fish inside and wonderfully flavoured. The chips were also to my taste and the whole food experience proves that simple is great when done right. Next time I'm at the waterfront I'll head back there to try out more of their food.

My first and last time that I will be here.
My ribs are not cooked properly.
Spinach is sticky and thick
Chicken wings extremely salty and not good.
All our food that came to our table was completely cold. Our hake family was was completely full of bones. When we approach the floor manager there is mostly excuses and a smirk look. The manager in the end did not want to listen to us, instead, tried at best to avoid our table. Service is completely terrible. We are a huge table that decided to rather finish and get out asap.
Not happy. And will not come back again.

Hands down the best value for money if you want prawns. They offer 1/2 or the 1kg prawns at an extremely good price. They give you plenty of chips or an alternative side dish.

The complimentary sauce for the prawns is nothing to rave about. I’d prefer to just use lemon and prawns are seasoned very well.

There is always a queue but it goes by quickly.

Music can be very loud inside so sitting outside is preferable. Service is decent.

The prawns are mostly fresh but they are mixed with some old ones.

Oyster special with bubbly is not worth it as the oysters are way too small.

I’ve returned multiple times for the prawns and I’m never disappointed. Highly recommend!
