Definitely the company to go for when planning a kayak trip, well organised and loads of fun! We had the pleasure of having Andrew the owner and guide taking us for a longer than standard trip and it was amazing. Will for sure make use of their services again.

Excellent experience and well worth the money. The organisation is superb and with the river at low levels an alternative section of the river was covered. The catering and entertainment supplied by the guides was top notch. Kudos to Andrew, Coby and the rest of the team. We were a group of 23 (adults and children) and everyone enjoyed themselves! The equipment is good quality. Even on day 4 the drinks were still cold in the cool boxes supplied.

We had an amazing 4 nights at Thunder Alley. We were initially disappointed that our trip had been moved from The Gorge but everything was great! We had 11 children on our tour and the excellent guides went out of their way to make us feel safe and looked after the whole trip. Sèamus, Tyler, Jason and Jono... thank you for giving us such a memorable experience. The children had a ball fishing, precious stone hunting and building fires, we will definitely be back!

We did the New Year’s trip at Thunder Alley.

I would like to extend personal thanks to you guys for making sure all the arrangements were spot on. Even more so I would like to thank to Ian, Erin, Jason u0026 Coby for an EXCELLENT time on the river. The professional, courteous, friendly and exciting service received by these 4 gents was super and beyond call-of-duty in my mind. Connecting with nature and people is what makes this trip – and they’re experts at that! I would recommend Gravity and it’s crew to anybody and everybody that is interested in a super family adventure. The emersion in nature was splendid and good food for the soul. The bonding with my family on that river is irreplaceable. The equipment was top-notch and the food was light-years ahead of what we expected … I had to loosen my life jacket straps towards day 3 because of the wholesome and delicious meals received.

Keep up the good work guys… I’m already thinking of coming back for the Gorge, when the river has subsided a bit.

We enjoyed the Orange River Gorge 4 day 5 night adventure enormously! The guides were attentive and helpful, the meals were well prepared and really good! All in all a great trip! From the two old ladies in red!
