After a long journey in the blistering sun, we made our way from the diving board to seek refuge in the coolness of the Tranquility Cracks. Nature's own air conditioner to hot and flustered hikers. A piece of mountain where the temperature is as cool as the frozen foods aisle in a supermarket????. The Tranquility Cracks is even more majestic in real life than the pictures that lured me towards this hidden gem. A perfect place to break for lunch. With the sun still high, we trekked onwards and upwards to Groot Kop peak. Any advice I can give, would be to make sure you have plenty of fluids and sunscreen for this trail in summer days. I got three shades of tan????. Happy hiking nature lovers, Tranquility Cracks is one for the bucket list.
