Service couldn't be slower and clueless. Our waiter had no idea what low sodium soya sauce was and couldn't offer extra wasabi. On the upside side, tuna tartare was excellent. The beef however was loaded with MSG.

Not cheap but the food is great. Lovely view of Table Mountain and the harbour outside but you can also sit inside and see a bit of it. Service can be hit and miss but more good than bad.

I had to give this experience 5 stars. It is a beautifull dining room and setting , however walk past all that, through the doors leading outside and you can sit overlooking the harbour with a beautifull backdrop of table mountain. The dim sum was simply delicious especially the chili oil it was served in. Extremely well balanced.

This was unfortunately a terrible experience. We ordered various dishes, every single one was a let down. The dim sum is very doughy with flavorless filling. It is not served with any sauce, you have to ask and get a substitute sauce from another dish. The spring rolls were average. The Pad Thai with prawns was so fishy, it was inedible and we sent it back. Crispy beef was covered in too much sticky sweet sauce and was just sweet, no flavor. It arrived cold, we sent it back and the next portion came again on an ice cold plate. The cashew nut chicken tasted very artificial, no depth and we only ate because at this point everyone was so hungry. What a shame, the CBD branch used to be a great restaurant.

Stay away from this place!!!

Food was pretty ok for me but not for my friends. And here’s why:
* the waiter was very distracted and we had to repeat the order several times
* my friend had bad fish and threw up almost immediately during 15 minutes
* when the waiter was told that one of the meals might miss a spice as common curtesy the waiter just said ok and walk away
* waiter brought warm water and not cold
* waiter kept calling us bro, don’t understand why
* it took almost 20 min to get an extra nan bread
* waiter picked his nose and had his hand in his hair

And then it was time to pay. Before the payment we asked if they’ve had some issues during the day with other customers with the food. Then we told him that one of our friends is throwing up right now and the other friend is feeling really bad in his stomach because he tasted his fish dish. And so we decided not to tip the waiter. Waiter asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said the amount without any tip. He asked me three times for tip AFTER I told him about the bad food and so on. I noticed he took it personally and didn’t like it. And so when I payed he got extremely arrogant. He didn’t give me receipt in my hand but he walked away dropped the receipt over the table with a cocky walk-away style.

Notice that the personnel is not real Indian, hence the bad food. I would not recommend anybody to eat here, it’s a bad experience.

There was no haiku so I think they should not advertise it- only Bukhara at this Resturant

Amazing food u0026 great atmosphere. Their dumplings are incredible, definitely my favourite!
