Pleased to have found this restraint with a spectacular view of the marina and a welcoming atmosphere. Our server Owen didn’t steer us wrong with the Cuisine recommendations for my wife and I. Food was excellent and well priced. Go for one of the mock tails like the cucumber and mint “no hito” great place to visit in the cape

I chose the Devil’s Peak Braai and it turned out to be a big disappointment. The meat was way too tough and ultimately not edible, only the venison sausage was decent. When I complained I got offered a free dessert which was a nice reaction. The dessert looked great and it tasted okay, but was again not something that would make me come back. All in all, the ingredients for the dishes seem to be of very poor quality and prices are far too high. There are various places right next door which offer much better food at more reasonable prices!

Would highly recommend Karibu restaurant if you're in Cape Town! We came here for our first night in the city and loved it! The entertainment was authentic and really fun, and the food was fantastic. We tried a lot of local dishes and game meat, and really enjoyed it. We were celebrating our honeymoon, and our server Clever went above and beyond to make sure that we had a really special experience. Can't wait to come back some day!

Our group had a very nice time at the restaurant tonight. The men ordered the safari platter which was ostrich, springbok, Kudu, impala, three warthog sausages, venison sausage and finally a nice piece of rump steak.

Our server, Brian did an excellent job taking care of us! We also enjoy the dancers who came in.

Great food and great service. Waiters watch you closely and are there when you need them. Food was tasty and well presented. Restaurant decor and ambience is both stylish and modern woth a touch of nature!

Friendly and not over bearing staff. Food was great. I had the game meat platter last time I was here and it was so good to try all the different meats. Had a steak this time coz have had it all. Also happened to have African music dance group when we had dinner so that was good.

My partner ordered the catch of the day and was told this would be a soft, white, flakey fish. However, it was very chewy and tasteless. She was offered another dish instead but was charged for the second more expensive dish. This in itself would not have been a problem, but she was only given 6 prawns for a main meal which wouldn't fill anyone up. Because of this we left no tip due to the issues we had and then were harrased about it, making it extremely awkward. My food was nice but nothing to write home about.
