I contacted Craig via MSATravelAfrica.com who helped me book a self-guided moto tour with one of Helderberg Yamaha's bikes. Both Craig and Niel at the Yamaha shop were super flexible and helpful, and got me off on the road in no time. The trip they laid out for me was a blast, and I had no mechanical problems with the bike. I'm impressed that they managed to coordinate the entire rental + multiday trip with hotel stays booked in under 2 days notice (though don't hold them to that in the future, I'm sure they prefer more notice!). Niel even helped me get a test ride of the new T7 at the end of my rental when I mentioned that I was considering buying one, which was above and beyond expectations. Highly recommend renting a bike through them if you're near Cape Town, I cant recommend the Yamaha Teneres enough.

Took my bike there for first service. Excellent and friendly service from Eugene and staff. Free coffee while waiting. This will be my one stop bike shop!

I met the owner Gavin who was quick to show me around. Apart from the Yamaha's, I discovered that on the opppsite side of the shop, SYM products are now also being sold. A pleasant owner and sales staff with a good selection of bikes and scooters.

Worst service I received in a long time. The sales agent treated me like a child felt like i was rather a nuisance rather than a customer

The service at Yamaha helderberg is absolutely shocking. If you ask for parts or oil for a sertion bike thay give you the completely wrong thing and so it is the correctly thing. Almost blow up my brand new bike because thay gave me the completely wrong oil brought it back and thay didn't know what to do. Also went in there and took a few parts of the shaves and when I went to go pay the pricing was complete different than on the Tage. The employees that work thereare the lazyest bunch of people I've ever met in my life. Honestly it's super sad to see from yamaha as I've been to there other branches and thay way better. It was also sad to see that thay show no interest in trying to get people back into motocross as the sport is slowly getting smaller. To be honest thay need to get rid of all there staff and managers and start fresh with people that are willing to help and be involved in a community

Make sure to take pictures before you send your bike in and take pictures after you get it. Incase a blame game starts.

Then reasoning with me, for them to analyze my bike and giving me advice and giving me a "good" service and delivering my bike... I need to be thankful for them doing their job!? I paid them in full, nothing was for free. Getting warranty claim, means yamaha manufactured a malfunctioned part, not getting something free. Watch out they very good with justifying themselves and blame the customer
