Cape Gate Mediclinic is the best hospital that I have ever seen. My dad was admitted to this hospital and he feels as if he is in a 5 star hotel. He cannot praise the hospital enough for the 5 star treatment that he has received. Well done, Cape Gate Mediclinic! Keep up the great standards! ????

A friend went to the emergency room yesterday. He was nauseas, shaking and he is 67yrs old. The sister inserting the drip asked him to stop shaking so she can insert the drip which was beyond his control. Then after administering the medication to him he was told to get up and move out of the bed because there are other patients. He cld barely walk. Is this how elderly patients are treated is this what our medical is good for. Mediclinic Cape gate has terrible bedside manner and I will be lodging a formal complaint against the staff in the ER.

Everyone that I've encountered here was very professional and friendly. I had to go to radiology and the staff there are very friendly and helpful. There was a short wait between completing the form and going for an x-ray, about 5 - 10 minutes.

I had my daughter at this hospital and was treated so well by every staff member we came into contact with. The food was incredible, the nurses were so helpful and Dr Kobie De Jager went above and beyond for us.

Couldn’t recommend more.

Cape Gate Medi-Clinic has the WORST Emergency Room I have ever experienced! Please do not waste your time coming here, you will be better off going to your local pharmacy!
I have been waiting for over 3 hours with my son who has sustained a fracture, no help, no communication.
They literally took his fever and gave me the invoices to sign. Ridiculous service delivery.

Worst experience at ER, yet again. Don’t know why I keep going back there after bad experience after bad experience. Dr told me I have gastritis. I have been sick for 10 days, swine flu doing the rounds at my kids school. I have TWO autoimmune diseases. Went back Again two days later, doctor (same doctor) says I have pharyngitis. None of the meds prescribed at helping. Why she wouldn’t just admit a high risk patient showing signs of flaring of autoimmune diseases. Tells me I must first take the meds she prescribed then come back again for cortisone treatment. So the hospital can charge me THREE times???

Currently waiting to be seen at the ER for shellfish poisoning – severe dehydration, uncontrollable vomiting, and unable to take my essential chronic medication as I can't keep anything down. I've been here for three hours and have yet to be seen. Totally unacceptable to knowingly let sick patients sit in massive discomfort without any explanation or communication regarding waiting times. Never coming back.
