Good mug and bean overlooking the check in desks.

Food was good and coffee ☕ nice and strong.

Our burgers ???? were very good , bacon ???? and avocado ???? and feta.

Other one was cheeses ???? beef ???? burger ????

The waiter was good.

Definitely the better restaurants in the departure areas.

Every time I come to the airport I eat here. They have good hot filter coffee, lots of delicious desserts including their cheesecake. I was pleasantly surprised this time with her chicken pot pie but their chips were a bit cold. The breakfast sandwich/ bagel was good.

The customer service here sucks!! We waited forever for our order to arrive and when it eventually arrived I expressed my unhappiness, but there was no means of rectifying the situation. Instead the response was "can I then bring the bill for the coffee?". How about an apology for making us wait 20 minutes for a muffin out the glass window. PS: the place was not even full. Mug and Bean you should pull up your sox!!

Not ideal. First we sat in the corner unattended for 15 minutes. That with a dirty table.

Then in desperation we moved to another recently vacated table which was also dirty waiting for someone to clean it. We eventually asked another waiter to clean the table.

When the omelette and other dish, the Monte Christo, both served with toast arrived, no butter accompanied it.

I requested the butter and it took a good 7 minutes by which stage I was halfway through my omelette.

This branch it feels isn't treated as a bastion of service. Instead it feels like a high turnover rate joint where service means nothing and you're being processed. I understand that people don't spend loads of time here but to international guests this is your window of opportunity to wow them. Your chance to say hey! While you're in this country look out for the Mugg u0026 Bean brand.

This opportunity was sadly not ceased.

Very poor service, not so hygienic (refer to pics).
I ordered cappuccino and got it cold after waiting for 30 minutes for it, I ordered Classic breakfast with well-done eggs and I got uncooked eggs, on the table there was only salt and pepper bottles, I had to go to table 19 and got this dirty stand on the picture for me to have sugar. I had to get up and asked for my eggs to be well done and they re-cooked the same eggs I gave back and they came back looking like they were on a braai stand and the plate came back with no tomato. I dined here years back and the service was excellent, I guess we have to blame Covid19. I will not dare set my foot again ????

It is a Mugg u0026 Bean. You know what to expect. Good food. Large portions and excellent coffees. Recommended whether you are hungry or just want a beverage or snack. Situated on top floor inside the airport.

I popped in to the Mugg and Bean upstairs this morning for a cup of coffee. The shop doors were open at that time, it was around about 06:31. I was told that the shop opens at 06:30, and therefore they won’t be able to help me, which got me so confused because it already was 06:31.

I totally did not have any problem with that whatsoever, but as I was making my way out, came a lady, who also came for a cup of coffee. I saw that she was getting helped, and made my way back (because I really wanted a cup of coffee). The bad attitude we got from a waitress with a name tag written Lulu was beyond terrible, she looked like she was gonna eat us alive. She was so angry and annoyed. The lady and I kept on looking at each other, trying to understand the bad attitude towards both of us.

She probably had her own reasons to have acted that way, but that lady and I definitely were not one of those reasons. We saw the shop open, and all we did was to ask a cup of coffee which we were going to pay for.

It felt like we were asking for the world, when all she had to do was to ring up the coffee and take the payment. She didn’t even have to make those 2 cups of coffee, the barista did ( and coffee was very nice)

I’m not the one to leave reviews, but this time around I just had to.

A little advice to Lulu. Everyone have their own problems, try not to take your problems out of customers. It’s bad for you, and the business you’re working at. The next day the shop is gonna get a lot of bad reviews, no one will come, and you will loose your job.

The coffee was good by the way ????????
