Lovely streat in the heart of Capetown with all shops pubs and eateries. One of the great place for shopping and specially for pubs. Very lively during weekends. On weekdays, in evening it is generally silent. It is advised not to walk alone specially at night as it may not be safe. Always take cab. Close to conventional center. 10 min from Victoria u0026 Alfred waterfront.

After weeks at home eventually ventured out excitedly. Going to Nandos!!!
Thoght to try out this branch. Place was empty except for one customer.

What a wrong decision. Such a dissapointing experience. No greeting, no thank you..felt like we were intruding...so unwelcoming the lady at the till.
Asked for serviettes but had to eventually fetch it ourselves. Couldnt find a tablespoon for the livers...were given plastic forks. No coffee available, the avo was rock hard and mild chicken tasted like hot. Left half unfinished. Never again this branch. :(

I decided on this Saturday night to take my daughter out to Nandos and drove all the way from Table View, just to add the drive to our outing

Got to Nandos Gardens and it was busy so I decided to come to Nandos Long str.

What a mistake. What a disaster

I've been a Nandos fan for many years but this is one of my worst experiences

I ordered extra hot 1/4 meal and the chicken came dry with jo sauce. Ordered well done and some of it was was still raw inside.

Nandos supposed to be grilled in the sauce and that's what makes it Nandos. But here you can expect plain no sauce grilled chicken and you get sauce thrown over if you request it. Please do yhe right thing and grill the chicken with the sauce

The staff never come to see if you need anything you're completely ignored after your meal of brought to your table. They don't even look at you or ever ask if you need anything.

So before I wrote this review I went to read other reviews and I've seen the owners response to bad ones....

You as the owners have no clue how to run a restaurant. Your responses to the bad reviews are nothing but nonchalant casual words that mean nothing

You clearly take no action to remedy the terrible service. You have prime spot but you're killing the business and good name of Nandos.

GET A NEW MANAGER OR SELL THE BUSINESS

Not Nandos giving us tangy tomato on our supposed to be pap and relish, as if thats not enough, they gave us raw chicken. Raw chicken guys. The staff is nonchalant about everything, they don't look interested in anything, not apologetic whatsoever. This is my worst Nandos experience.

Hi.... This was the worst nandos meal delivered. Firstly it took 2 hours to be delivered. Secondly they did not put the rolls i purchased in the bag. The chicken was not grilled at all... instead of lemon n herb sauce there were olny oil on the chicken ... this chicken was not marinated at all .... the spicy wedges were terrifying it seemed as if they took yesterday's wedges and heated it up in the microwave it tasted rough and hard the skin was even crumbled up .... when I complained to management they gave bad service ... others were asking my name not knowing that I heard and started laughing because I complained to them ... the management ther said they have no driver so they can't deliver our rolls they forgot to put in . Really ? If you can't provide a delivery service then don't... now you do this to customer's meals for the day ... I just called the store manager as instructed by the nandos customer care and the store manager seemed as if she didn't understand a word I said ... just said okay Il check n get back to you .... really ???? How disappointing man ???? I can never buy nandos at long street ever again first time worst experience....

I am Really disappoiented On their services. My friend and I had to wait more than 30mins without receiving our order. After seeing people who arrived after us being serviced, my friend went to the check what's happening and she seemed to be confused herself. After like 10min our order arrived but we were still not satisfied because why would a bowl of spicy chips and 2 BarOne milkshakes take so long ? On top of that the restaurant was not even busy and some staff members were just standing and socialising.

Staff are great but when you order chicken there is never sauce you have to ask for sauce as they don't add extra sauce after grilling the chicken unlike all other nandos I've been to. Not sure why
