The room is comfortable enough and functional. Don't book breakfast though. It's really not great if you're accustomed to decent food. It's bacon, it's eggs, it's sausages but tastes bland, no colour and really just cooked. Staff though, amazingly friendly and helpful. Staff in the serving areas, not so much. It's OK overall.

I enjoyed my stay! Christian was the first person to greet me. He saw my Uber dropping me off on the street and rushed over to take my luggage. Then I received the warmest welcome from Addie Mae at the front desk. My check-in was easy and Addie Mae made sure I received all the information I needed about the hotel and told me about the happy hour in the elephant room for elite rewards members. I think you should go and check out the elephant room bar even if you are not a rewards member because it is the cutest little bar. The bar tender was welcoming. I opt out of housekeeping to receive green stay points, but the housekeeping ladies were always pleasant when I would encounter them in the hallway or the elevator. The room was comfortable and clean with plenty of plugs and enough space to be comfortable. I had a corner room with two big windows so I had plenty of natural light and a nice view. The location was great! There are plenty of food options within walking distance and if you plan to do the Hop On Hop Off bus one of the main pickup points is just a few blocks away on long street.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was very busy but the service was great and we enjoyed our food (we ordered off the menu rather than the buffet).

Checked in here yesterday and was quite blown away by the decor and beauty of the set up. Although I must say a little confusing it was all an eclectic mix of colorful art mixed with old style chique!
The room was amazing and comfortable air con had been turned on which was a welcome reprieve from the heat outside. A few things that put my off included the room keys cards being placed in a home printer printed paper and staples together and the attitude of some of the staff. In the middle of all this stunning art and modern look and feel there were really cheesy message die cut and pasted on the walls - made no sense and gave a cheap feel to the hotel, the best you you can be in Perspex cut out stuck on the wall come on guys a little too little too far....

R100 per day for parking. For what? Limited parking on top of that. Very narrow and very difficult to navigate. Elevators look and feel tired. The rooms are good, however. The food is excellent! Buffet dinner and breakfast. Compliments to the chefs and kitchen staff. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Good place to check-in!!!

Over than expected Holiday Inn, Cape Town. Smiles from all friendly staff members were never in short. Decor and elevator could be a bit out fashion. But that are not the important matters. I felt hinge away home. Food quality were both good and reasonable priced. I enjoyed a piece of perfectly medium grilled beef fillet. Then had a few shots of my favorite drinks at 24/7 lounge. How about that!

Stayed in September 2019 and it's not a good time as the hotel is on renovation. There are 4 lifts but only 2 are working and you have to wait at least 15 minutes for it. I ordered room service, food was created of and the servant explained because of the lift que. İn general, rooms are non smoking and you have to go down for a cigarette. As it's always busy and crowded employees are minding their own business and seems like not welcoming you. İn short; choose another hotel...
