It was my 16th Wedding anniversary and prior to going I called the branch and spoke to such a polite gentleman by the name of Keagon. He assured me that he would keep a table ready for when we arrive. Our service we received was exceptional, the food was fantastic and it all ended off with Keagon arranging a special dessert treat for us. I was wowed by the service excellence. Clearly they take pride in their customers and ensuring that they produce service that is exceptional. Great job Keagon and team. Keep up the good work.

Atmosphere was tranquil. Not crowd. Had the platter for 2. Disappointed in the hard rice and calamari tubes was salty. Definitely informed the manager so that other patrons will have a better experience. If you don't bring it to their attention they will be non the wiser and Ocean Basket will received bad publicity through word of mouth. The manager has apologized and thanked for bringing it to his attention and prepared a fresh portion of each himself.

So my colleagues and I decided to go to Ocean Basket in Plumstead and we definitely had a great time and received exceptional service from our waiter in the first picture called Jayde. We would like to also commend his manager on duty Ethan for assisting Jayde with our drinks order. The food was absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend anyone to this Ocean Basket.

Loved my prawn special, chips were great! My daughter loved her fish and chips. Delicious hake! Americano ☕ at the end of my meal was ???? Service was excellent. I hope COVID calms down so they can operate fully again???? thank you, OB, for an enjoyable meal.

Food was good. Waited about 40 minutes for the food. But in that time they pushed a lot and i mean a lot of take away orders. I approached the manager and he said that the kitchen was not receiving orders and that their system was not working and that it was a technical issue. After approaching the manager food came. In addition, the manager was busy folding take away boxes instead of managing the place. We were at the restaurant for more than an hour and have seen plenty of other guests leave. The tables were not cleaned for the duration of our stay.

My wife and I had our 16th Wedding anniversary yesterday and chosen to eat at Ocean basket Plumstead. My phone ahead and spome to Keagan to make sure that they will not be having Loadshedding. Keagan was very helpfull and friendly and as we arrived at the restaurant he knew exactly whi we were. We had an Awesome time with Awesome food! Even after our starter Sushi and Main meal Keagan arranged an wonderful Personalised desert for our Anniversary. Thank you so much to Keagan and the rest of the awesome staff at Ocean Basket Plumstead!!!

I wanted to only give 4 stars because the service wasn't that great, waiting really long for service, and took around 40 minutes to get drinks with only a few tables occupied. BUT the food was absolutely amazing ???? cooked to perfection and very tasty ????. This branch has been through a very turbulent time in the past few years but I will definitely commend them on well prepared dishes and fairly reasonable prices. Will definitely be back!
