Apartments are neat and clean. Comfy beds and very friendly u0026 helpful hosts.
Wonderful view of the sea and right at the foot of Table mountain.
Definitely awe-inspiring views.
Great for singles, young couples or even pub crawlers, but not so much for families wanting a quiet stay overlooking the beach.
The main road hosts illegal drag races at night once the pub music finally stops.

What: A place to stay on the bay

Why: Location, price and friendly reception staff. Not much else.

Why not: So much. Dirty, in an advanced state of disrepair and generally unpleasant to be. The plumbing no longer works properly, the bathrooms can no longer be cleaned to the point where they'll feel clean, the cupboards in our room were falling apart and the "safe" can simply be picked up and removed. Our balcony could not be unlocked so had no purpose.

To top it off there is no way to deal with loadshedding - no inverter and no generator. I didn't think anywhere in South Africa (short of a Formula 1 hotel) could still exist without.

it was filthy, one would not expect powder of some sort around the toilet areas, would that be for disinfectant purposes? we were so looking forward to stay in Campsbay but we're forced to find alternative accommodations elsewhere

Amazing views and everything that opens and shuts. Anything you could think of they have. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, iron ,coffee machine, netflix, pool,amazing bath tabs and more

Beautiful accommodation. I had a lovely stay. They don’t have twin plugs in the rooms though. That was a little annoying.

I love the location. It's close to restaurants, beach and public transport if you need it.
