This amazing boutique hotel in Camps Bay area of Cape Town will make your stay as comfortable and delightful as you never thought it imagineable. The rooms feature so many amenities, they even provide you washing powder in the room, just in case. Very friendly. Great breakfasts, too. And the views.. well, just stop by and see for yourself.

Amazing hotel, highly recommended!

One of the best hotels I stayed in. Perfect location, staff were super friendly u0026 helpful, magnificent room with private swimming pool u0026 delicious breakfast with amazing view of the ocean. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Cape Town ????????

Location, staff and facilities are amazing, but the design of their bathrooms are strange and not practical. Basically, you are a shower in the middle of the room! No doors nor curtains!

We have just checked out of Pod Hotel Camps Bay having stayed for 10 nights and are honestly feeling quite sad to leave. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the staff are so welcoming, friendly and extremely attentive. They really go out of their way to make your stay perfect.
They are always on hand whether it’s to give you the weather forecast for the day, make a reservation for you, recommend somewhere to visit or a restaurant to eat at or to provide you with everything you need for a trip to the beach, they always go the extra mile. It feels like we are part of their family.
The hotel itself is lovely, spotlessly clean, chic and extremely comfortable and close to everything you need but far enough away from any disturbing noise.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

I stayed one night at POD Camps Bay and I absolutely had a good time. The people who work there are very friendly and gave me warm welcome. The room is very modern and nicely furnitured. The location is amazing, it takes you 30 seconds to the beach and within 5 minutes walkable distance you will find various restaurants. They only serve breakfast. Was it good, yes, absolutely. I also liked the free drinks provided within the mini bar (incl. a bottle of wine), thanks!

Perfect in just about every way...

I would be remiss if I didn't start my review by saying that I have never stayed at a hotel that the staff treated us like family and so incredibly well. They did everything they could to attend to our needs, treat us like king and queen, and make sure we were comfortable. The front desk knew us by name and the other staff (bartender, doorman, etc.) were just outstanding. I would stay here again solely because of the staff. Two examples - it was my birthday during our stay and they surprised me with a cake in the room and also provided a bottle of champagne.

Location wise, you are a block from the beach and most of the rooms have at least partial ocean views. The lobby and bar/pool area also have mostly full ocean views. Nearby, you can walk to coffee, bars, banks, and a grocery store. (all within 10 minutes walking). If you want to be in Camp's Bay, the location is basically perfect since you are close to everything, but not in everything.

The room we rented was on the first floor with a plunge pool. The shower was great, the toilet was separate, and the room was spacious. The bed was comfy (king size), minibar stocked and included in your stay, had a separate sitting area inside, and then the outdoor patio had two large loungers and a bench with covering where you could lay. The pool was perfect to relax and sip a drink. Was it "small", yes, but it was perfect for two people relaxing.

Breakfast is included and made to order. It was quite good. Additionally, they have a wide selection of movies and they will pop you popcorn so you can have a movie and popcorn afternoon or night! (Or morning I guess :) )

Finally, they have a generator so you are not impacted by the occasional rolling blackouts.

The only single negative was that the air con was not working during our stay, which was the only negative. They did get us a fan and made the situation right. Because they handled it so well they still get a five star in my eyes. Thank you Pod for a great stay on our honeymoon.

Friendly, helpful staff definitely make for a great stay. I have travelled extensively and was amazed by the attention to detail. We had an issue with hot water in our suite and the management were out first thing the next morning to attend to the issue. A truly luxurious hotel and amazing staff
