Beautiful food and experience. Atmosphere is stunning. It is great to see the owners working in the kitchen as chefs, making each dish personally for you. On returning for another meal, the chef remembered us and how hot we like our chilli dishes. A hidden gem worth exploring.

We had a delicious starter at Riva but we were so disappointed by the main meals we were served. I had the prawn pasta with a total of three baby prawns in the whole dish....three little prawns for R165.????u200d♀️ My fiancée had the spaghetti ink with one piece of calamari , one muscle and some prawns in it???????? for R195. It's so sad when you have such a big expectation from a place and you walk away disappointed. Service also wasn't great. It could be such a great place but what you pay and what you get is just not worth it.

The in-house bread is really good. However not as many options to choose from. Tried one of the main course fish which was decent but didn't taste as good as it looked.

A nice genuine Italian place with goid sea food pasta and nice laud back interior
Basic meny lovely Tiramisu friendly staff Nothing fancy but nice!

beyond exquisite, from service to sublime flavours. The best culinary experience I have had in South Africa from an Italian point of view. Real homely flavours brought together with the freshest and most genuine real home made food. What a treat!

Over rated over priced, go somewhere else. Granted the pasta and prawns were done as expected. But it’s average at best. There is no depth in flavour. Any person can replicate the meals. The worse part of the experience was the waitress named Vee. Awful service! She didn’t check up on us once, or be bothered to do so. Cape Town has a lot of options, so why return!? Skip this one
