The food here was amazing. The service was immaculate. We went in the afternoon, so it wasn't too busy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food came out hot, fresh and so flavourful. The rice was so good, it felt like a meal on its own. I would recommend this place for small or large parties!!!

Had a very interesting time at Ala Turkish. The portion sizes are quite big so consider sharing if a light eater. Massive menu... so hard to choose ????. Baklava was delicious, chips are very good and Service was quick. Will definitely go back. Has inside and outside seating and some parking.

Great vibe and experience, efficient service from what seems to be a very busy restaurant.
I was a tad bit disappointed with the food .

Had lamb shank which was the softest yes but not flavourful.also had rib eye steak , which seemed more like minute steak to me .

ALSO a popular restaurant should take bookings especially in covid its not fun standing arround outside waiting for a table.

That said it is a place you need to experience

Delicious food - Very tasty! Good service with friendly staff. Decent selection of meals - spoilt for choice.

We had a platter for 2 - each item was prepared to perfection and was delicious. Could easily feed 3 or maybe even 4.

Beautiful Atmosphere and Environment with the most amazing tasting food.. Waiting time was not that long and presentation of food was next level.. Had one of the most beautiful hookahs I've ever had.. And was so smooth.. Definitely going again and will definitely recommend it to locals and tourists

At Ala Turkish we waited for more than 20 mins before a menu was given and they were not busy when we entered and was seated at our choice of table. The waiter that finally arrived did not explain dishes or types of bread correctly and I was so disappointed with the Turkish Delight Frappe (at R60 )as it was chocolate flavoured(which I do not like) and only had bits of Turkish delight on top, I had to confirm twice with Waiter that this was really a Turkish delight frappe, as it tasted only of chocolate which I do not like…nothing was done and I swopped it with my daughter for her pineapple juice was very weak.
We asked for a glass of water and was refused stating that the water was unhealthy and we must order bottled water which they only had small bottles and not the 1 litre.
My son is vegetarian so there was limited choices but he chose the SamSum Pide which arrived burnt on top, the lamb shank was enjoyed by my daughter, the mixed grill platter was brought out with flames which looked very nice but the platter itself had more onion and cabbage to fill it out and the meat wasn’t as flavorful. The prices are not cheap and you are automatically charged 10% so one would expect better service and not at every chance to be ripped off. The waiter didn’t even bother to bring me change for my bill and we wanted to buy a box of Turkish delight at the front desk and there was no one to assist so we just left very annoyed.
Been to another Turkish restaurant at the Vu0026A waterfront and compared to that the service was 10x better at that restaurant and we was given complimentary flatbread and a glass of water without side remarks of the water being unhealthy.

The food was different to what I'm used too, I was expecting spices and new flavours but its not very spicy at all.. loved the authentic Turkish experience tho. The vibe of the place is really cool, ate outside under a tree while it was drizzling ???? lets just say it was exciting...The Turkish coffee made everything better. The meals are pricey tho to be honest but definitely worth trying.
