Went there for diner on a cold and wet day. Best idea ever. Very cosy vibes and deco, I enjoyed the fireplace so much. Service was impeccable, waiter took the time to explain very well each plates of the menu of the day. I ended up ordering the salad of the day and the roasted porc belly (which was one of the best I ever tested in Cape Town). Wine menu is a bit small but otherwise I highly recommend this place. I will come back very soon!!

Good food!!

Order from Uber eats and walked to pick it up — wish I would have dined in. Such a cute venue.

Lots of wine! The decor is really lovely and I found myself walking the entire restaurant taking it all in.

Food was good! The mushroom risotto OMG I could eat that every single day. Each spoonful was so delicious.

Caesar salad was spectacular and the veggies were fresh.

The butternut soup was super heavy on the cream. I tried to eat is several times and just couldn’t.

Such a cosy restaurant ???? Love the fire place and decor.
Excellent service from all staff. Impressed.
Pasta was great but I never had much of an appetite tonight. Perfect for lunch tomorrow.
Will def visit again. Keep up 5he good service Team.

Exquisite! Great value for money. Friend and I came off the mountain after dark and were hungry for a vegan meal. Shared a cauliflower steak and a salad which the chef whipped together as a vegan salad. Both were FANTASTIC! Setting was amazing and after a few poor experiences at other restaurants this was really top drawer. We will be back for sure.

I am disappointed with this restaurant. We went for the movie theatre special at the restaurant and when we arrived for our dinner and we had told them this the attitude completely changed. We were then seated in a dark corner of the restaurant that was somewhat separated from the rest of the space. We were also directly under the speaker for the music which was rather unpleasant. We then asked to move closer to the fire place, as it was cold, and they said they were fully booked and unable to move us. We sat there for 2 hours watching empty tables by the fireplace. I am shocked at how we were treated because of this deal at the theatre. I won’t be going back as the treatment was terrible.

2 friends and I had a meal of pasta at this restaurant and it wasalmost inedible. The pasta was overcooked and bland! No matter how much salt we added it made no difference. The staff didn't seem to care and the chef had a very arrogant attitude when told. Don't waste your money eating there. You will never see us again and we will make sure we spread the word.

Warm, cosy bistro with a French / Italian menu.

I had the carbonara starter portion as a main. Incredible!
The pasta was light and delicate, and was the perfect foil for a rich and deeply satisfying and flavourful carbonara sauce. The egg was optional, so There is clearly something else in the sauce to make it creamy. This may offend purists, but I loved it.

The service was excellent. Staff were very helpful and thoughtful.
