Excellent bar that has beer on tap and great specials. It is very spacious inside. The interior is beautiful and the staff are also friendly. We watched soccer and cricket before we played some pool. The ambiance was good and made me feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Menu is SUPER COST EFFECTIVE!! Makes me wonder why I bother cooking at home ???? went for dinner, we had a platter I forget the name, their name brand sauces are top notch! Service super friendly. Will certainly make this a family eat out occasion. Parking was easy, I have nothing negative to say.... I can say that I can't wait to try their burgers ????

I visited on a day they had a private function with the whole rear parking area full of people. With the large number of added customers the service was still fast and efficient. The bar staff still able to adapt the no tab ruling of the day to accommodate people not likely to flee the scene without settling and even checking on the tables to offer rounds. I'll certainly pop in again in the future.

Hidden away in the industrial area Springbok Blues has got a nice chilled atmosphere. The interior is casual with dim lighting and very relaxing background music. They support local musicians by doing live shows every Friday evening. Come and support local music. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were served by Simone who took good care of our needs. They have a pizza special menu for Saturdays. They do weekly main meal specials from 12 - 8pm. Their wine selection is from Somerbosch wines and Rusthof. They serve burgers, seafood, chicken, pork, steak and curry on their main menu. The food is prepared with care and tasty. One of the local hidden gems in Strand. We had a very disappointing experience at the Springbok Blues bar and I am still waiting to hear back from the owner regarding our experience.
In short the 2 Eisbein’s that we ordered were undercooked to the point where blood was still coming out of the meat.
Clearly they were not boiled first before being deep fried. When we highlighters this to the manageress she offered to take one off of the menu but not the other. They took my Eisbein back and microwaved it for about 20mins to the point where it looked like leather.
I have still not received a call back from the owner like o was promised. ????

I've seen a number of shows here and have always had a good time. The food is good and reasonably priced. They have amazing chicken strips and super soft calamari. Pizza is always a hit! Various specials available during the week. Bathrooms are usually clean and neat. The only issue I have with this venue, is that often the doors between smoking and non-smoking are open.
