I thought they were my extended family till I find out I've just been tolerated and have been wanted to be rid of, because I'm transgender and they apparently pride themselves on being "open". Not a nice feeling to "wake up" to. Will avoid like the plague, another not so trans friendly place which is becoming expected in Cape Town, I liked it but i wasn't liked by other patrons yet again... Transphobia still exists... You people are heartless.

It's my go-to place. I love it. The staff are amazing. Events here are so kiffffff.

Amazing place!! The staff is wonderful and so friendly, especially the son of the owner. Welcoming to travelers from all over the world! I stayed in the hostel upstairs and it was so affordable as well as central to tons of tourist sights, the beach, and a great view of Table Mountain. Would recommend 100%

It's always empty ...great for gamblimg but also lots of unsavoury characters. The old guy working upstairs us really friendly though.
