Great venue however the staff could be more helpful and are rather lazy. They young staff that is, the older staff work hard and are friendly!!

Group went for a surf. All 45 of them. Dave really accommadated us. Had instructors prepared. Group from Norway had a great time. Loved the coffee Dave made for me. Thanks for keeping group happy.

Surfshack is the best //staff of family and surfers which makes it so special. My kids did an intensive 3 to 4 days training Jan 2014 and it was the best start ever... photo is from a year later when they know it all. I even took up surfing at 50 I am not great but great to be with your kids. Wouldnt go anywhere else..... quick shower afterwards and always time to chat... David and his family do a fantastic job..

This is my go-to-place to hire surfboards and wetsuits for a great price! The service is excellent, staff are friendly and helpful. Love the vibe here!...and the warm shower????u200d♀️????

Great service, good pricing, worth it

As an 'improving beginner' these guys have always been really helpful and made my trips here a good experience.

I have been with large groups and even just myself and they always cater to everyones needs and skill levels.

They do specials on boards and wetsuits and I have had no problems with any of the equipment they have provided.

Parking along Muizenberg can at times be really busy so go on quieter days.

This shop is really well run, the staff are extra friendly and they are so accommodating (I've been there on new years day).

If you want a fun few hours in the admittedly cold water, look no further.

This has to be one of the best surf rental experiences that I have ever had.
From the moment you enter you feel at ease here the friendly staff from the owners to Grant the manger make you feel super relaxed u0026 make you feel at home. We got great advice on the type of boards to use they have boards for all from beginners to professions you will find the board for you u0026 at one of the most reasonable prices on the waterfront.

We came here for a few days u0026 rented a wet suit u0026 board on multiple occasions all in great condition the staff even waxed the board freshly before we left. The advice they gave me for the type of board I should be using for my experience level was perfect u0026 I had one of the best times on the waves since I started learning.

They do rentals, surf lesson even SUP tours with penguins u0026 have a retail store if you need to stock up on some surf related merchandise.

Truly one of the best surf rental experiences that I have ever had. This is the only place to come when in Muizenberg.
