Parents can bring their children to play while enjoying a delicious, affordable meal inside or outside of The Farmhouse. There is a swingset and one person can look after their children while the other can enjoy their date with the children. There is a variety of farmhouse items like jams, classic sweets and kitchen utensils. Frozen soups and meals can be purchased at a very affordable price and they are definitely worth it

A very traditional place, I've not yet tried any food as they don't have many plant based options. Though I did used to get coffee here every Saturday morning. There used to be an additional charge for almond milk, but two weeks ago they increased the charge to R18 which is more than half the price of a coffee! A litter of oatmilk from a reputable brand such as oatly costs about R45. There is no way to justify the R18 surcharge, especially when considering that these milk substitutes are cheaper to produce when the total real cost is considered.

If you are an alternative milk drinker you are better off going down the road to wild eatery where the is no additional charge and the coffee is better and cost less.

While I had my drink the waitresse came to my table three times to ask me to pay. There were more than enough tables for next customers. Why..? Ahiii It's pity I wouldn't recommend this lovely place.

The Farmhouse is a family owned restaurant that can be recommended for anyone. From a quick meeting of some colleagues, work remotely or a family event or meeting with some of your friends all are easy and appropriate here. I can recommend all to visit this restaurant and support the local business and community. Always a pleasure to visit

Good, clean shop. The coffee is not my favorite but the Italian hot chocolate is damn delicious!

Nice little coffee shop in the center of Somerset West. Service was ok and bacon and egg burger wasn’t bad. I have had better burgers though.

Very nice coffee shop. Light meals and frozen take away meals. Homemade jams and preserves. Good service and friendly staff. Can pop in just for a coffee.
