Perched atop Woodstock, with a 360° view of Table Mountain and the Cape Town harbour, you'd imagine the scenery would matter more. However, once you get a mouthful of the rich flavours on offer at the Pot Luck Club you will hardly notice the view.

This restaurant is a pretty laid-back experience for the price-point. If you don't know what to order, your waiter will certainly have options about that. All-in-all it's a great spot to share some spectacular dishes with close friends.

Although intended for sharing, it is not easy to divide the beautifully plated culinary constructions. This may present some awkwardness if you are negotiating a business deal with pandemic-adverse clients. Other than that, it is a delicious, atmospheric and fun experience.

Amazing food!!! When in Cape town for vacation this is a must! We had in total 8 dishes. 6 salty and 2 deserts and it was enough for two girls :)
Also the view on the rooftop with the view on the table mountain is amazing. And the sunrise was also nice. Just to give it to you as an example we paid 1700 R which is something around 100 euro in total including drinks. It is expensive in comparison to other Restaurants in the city but this is not a restaurant it's an experience and totally worth the money.

Best fine dining experience ever 10/10 ???????????? highly recommended.

Please make sure you book in advance - The scenery is absolutely amazing as it overlooks Cape Town and its quite high up in the air so the city lights is absolutely amazing.

The menu viewable when scanning their QR code and you get to select your own fine dining course dishes that is sharable between two people and the amount of dishes you feel like - The chefs will send out the dishes as they recommend each other.

They also have a vegetarian menu selection and a wide variety of wines and cocktails to order with your dishes.
I highly recommend the "Quail u0026 Sweetbeads"
The food is AMAZING ???? and you get to go view the kitchen with your waiter.

Top spot, in the cool Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. Great views from the 6th floor. The food was amazing, we had most of the dishes on the veggie menu an all were superb. My dessert was a peanut bomb and would rate it as on the better desserts I have had in a long time. Services was great. Highly recommend.

Awesome experience! Loved every dish, small portions to share but full of flavour. Highlight was definitely the peanut butter dessert — hands down the best dessert I’ve had in Cape Town! Will be back.

I was lucky enough to get a lunchtime reservation at The Pot Luck Club after being recommended it was worth a visit by numerous friends. The restaurant sits on the 6th floor on top of an old silo and so has gorgeous views all around. I was lucky enough to be sitting overlooking the chefs at work (which I always find fascinating). The service was fantastic (as I’ve been finding in most restaurants/hotels I’ve visited in Cape Town) and the food was delicious. The presentation of the food was exceptional. The only very VERY slight negative was that I ordered the daily special (the cray fish) which was delicious - however WAAAAAAY too much for one person and I felt terrible having to hand half the dish back - I just wish I had had a companion to share it with.

Overall I had a great meal at the Pot Luck Club and would definitely go back but perhaps as a group to enjoy the differing selections.

The most memorable dining experience ever. Came on on whim for dinner while on vacation in beautiful Cape Town. Host was kind and seated us right away without a reservation. Hendricks Martini was refreshing, sashimi was incredible, crayfish was the most delicious thing I ever tasted a fillet melted like butter. I could drink the sauce it came in. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town.
