Very happy to have uncovered another gem of a place in leafy Gardens.

There is so much to like about the Woodlands Eatery from its outdoor dining balcony, it's cosy layout and the friendly service.

But its the food that makes the visit worthwhile. Delicious Italian cuisine at affordable prices and very generous portions.
Plus it was not too busy which is great for diners who are conscious about maintaining social distance while out.

We had a wonderful evening, all 6 of us enjoyed our meal, the food is authentic, classic and delicious. The staff were lovely and the place itself has a wonderful atmosphere.

Since we have moved to Cape Town we have not found a better restaurant for consistently providing excellent service, every meal has been top class and the very friendly owners and super efficient staff make it our favourite venue be it for either sit down or take away meals.

I was craving pasta and unfortunately that led me to woodlands. I am from California and I eat out a lot as well as cook a lot, and this was not good. I ordered the carbonara and it was not cooked well; it was very soft and tasted like ramen noodles. The sauce was watery and needed lots of cheese, salt and pepper to make it edible. I will say that The pizza was decent. The server was nice so that’s where the one star came from. I am heading back to California today but if I wasn’t I would never come back.

Very good prices with amazing food! Seafood can be slightly underdone in my opinion but never disappoints! One of the best Italian place in CBD
