I ordered the Vegetarian Black Dalcha and Schezwan Fried Rice.

Dalcha was one of the best I've ever had and satisfied that craving I had for proper food from India. The garlic naan was also pretty nice.

Fried Rice wasn't that nice but I'm very specific with my taste so others might enjoy it.

However, I would strongly suggest them to not add food colorants to the dishes as it really puts me off.

I have to give a 5 star rating due to that absolutely amazing Dalcha and I hope you would stop using the colorants.

Delicious food and pleasant surrounds. Food was "Finger Lickin!" Good. Will definitely return to Vintage India.

I enjoy this place. When he's not taking his afternoon nap, the owner and I have good chats about cricket - and how India needs to start losing ????. The menu has great vegetarian and protein options. The food arrives swiftly and with traditional condiments. Slightly more expensive than other indian restaurants but definitely worth it.

My husband and I rocked up here with no booking. The staff and owner were welcoming, hospitable and very friendly .The food and atmosphere was beautiful. Definitely coming back and highly recommended for authentic Indian cuisine!!

Food was bland in my opinion, not anywhere near indian cuisine. More of food coloring on the meat. The lamb did not taste like lamb either. Even the naan was rubbery????chips poor qaulity tasting, won't purchase from here again unfortunately, was really looking foward to tasty food.

'Vintage India', The itself says whole story. If you are looking for authentic Indian taste, this is the best place to go.

Their naan, curries, indo-chinese (veg dry Manchurian) have authentic Indian taste. You will feel like you are in India. I have been in many Indian Restaurant here in CapeTown but Vintage India is my fav one.

Staff is very friendly, they take care like family. The owner himself is very welcoming.
