Great facility. Nice coffee shop with cheap food. Friendly staff. A guy with OCD washing cars squeaky clean.

I have a psychiatric emergency in my household, and Valkenberg does not answer their telephones. I've tried calling booking, wards, admin, pharmacy you name it. This is shocking as no other mental institution will help due to us falling under Valkenberg. This is unacceptable.

I just saw someone jumping over the bobbed wire fetching to get out of Valkenberg and i cant get hold on the emergency contact number. PICK UP your phone Valkenberg.

This is a dangerous facilty that, in fact, is abusive and traumatic towards its patients. Personally, I was assaulted by 3 guards. The food, if you can call it that, has barely any nutritional value. A solid testimony to the shocking state of mental healthcare in this country. If you're looking for care and assistance, this is the last place you should turn to.

It's great hospital, huge and family friendly staff. It has nice and spacious dometries for the patients
