Was so not what we expected!!!

When we enquired about the place, we asked if the place was wheelchair friendly and the owner confirm yes, we then made a booking. When we arrived at the place, the inside of the house had  three steps.As we enter the place by the front door,  we entered we notice another step, as you  go outside to the pool area another step. Owner advise she need to take our temperature we notify the owners two of our guests wasn't their yet as they traveled with(public transport) MyCiti bus were we fetch them from the nearest mall by Uber. We advise the owner that the two guests will be with us in an hours time.The owner arrived at  21h30pm the evening not even notifying via call or sms to say she will be coming around to check their temperatures. She checked the lady and her daughter's temperature, the was in bed already about to sleep whe and childs temperature was taken it was a bit high ovoisely because the child was in bed and was jumping on the trampoline. The ownerthen said they need to leave the childs temperature was high,  we said there's no transport to fetch them as they came from Atlantis and traveled with the bus then Uber, for a fine chick she tells us to call an ambulance to come an fetch them.

Toilet by te entertainment /bar One rooms shower was broken and water was spilling all over. Each room had white towels on its bed but if we want to make use of it we had to pay for it but can not even be used by the pool area . We told her to take all towels because we had our own towels.

We booked for 10 adults and the owner only wanted to give us 4 rooms. The house is so full of cameras there is no privacy at all. One of the  TV's in the entertainment/bar room area doesn't work,no braai area but it's call self catering,she brought us a small braai grid which we are using at home your purchase @ shoprite or pnp for R180 - R200, no fireplace to make a fire to chill. The owner walks in whenever she feels like without notifying guests NO PRIVACY yet again. Our check out time was 11am the owner came and clean the pool while we were still on the premises, without even consulting with us she clean the pool at 8am the morning we couldn't even make use of pool before we left the guests house.

HOW DO YOU ENJOY YOURSELF IF YOU ARE BEING WATCH THE WHOLE TIME?

I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Our stay was absolutely fantastic, starting from the host and her warm welcome. Not to mention the facilities and the general ambiance and feel of the place. We really enjoyed our stay at Villa de Tranquil., my family and I would like to thank Vuyo for being an awesome superhost

Had a great time at Villa Tranquil, from the friendly staff and owner, clean rooms, and pleasant ambiance. They were only too happy to assist for things to do on Cape Town. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to CT.

The staff seems unfriendly and unhelpful. They leave guests unattended at night time. Some guests had to stay outside in the cold at night because there was no staff to attend to them. The staff members were not answering their phones. The kitchen remains locked most of the times and most rooms don't have kitchen facilities like microwave and kettles. On the good side though they try to keep their place neat and tidy.

Had a great stay. The staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and the bedding was fresh. My new home whenever I visit Cape Town.

This place is really not the truth from how this is advertised on their website. The place is dirty and is a far cry from a Boutique Guesthouse. It is more of a commune set up. I will be publishing on all social media platforms our recent experience re: the dirt covering the unwashed bedding with no sheet, old hard and damaged towels and a false nail in our shower. If it was not for Patricia the hostess of the establishment we would not have stayed.

Amazing, quiet, friendly efficient staff,. The owner and partner are two of the most genuine unpretentious and people I have had the pleasure of meeting when I was in Cape Town. Thank you Marius and Jonathan for all you did for me and my business , you both went over and beyond to keep me happy, making sure I had anything I needed which in turn made it a very relaxed and enjoyable stay for me. Hope to return in December!
