Stunning, stunning, stunning. This is where everyone in Mitchell's Plain should be. Parking is safe at all times as well as the play area for the kids while parents gym and the staff are amazing. We'll done Virgin Active and soon there will be a Spar right next door????❤️

I like the treadmills. The machines are very close together. Maybe they could make that space in the middle smaller. Maybe they could use the downstairs section better. Overall ok experience.

Need serious upgrade. Price difference to other branches not far off; yet the experience totally different. As a premium member; I frequent 4 different virgm active brances; however this branches bit disappointing. Equipment although In working condition, needs serious upgrade; outdated if I should compare. Leak from ceiling in Winter, I noticed at for at least 3 weeks. Got sms saying that its being repaired; but haven't been back since.
Just feels that that is acceptable for the community that it's located in. Not cool

With high hopes going to virgin active. I signed up received my email confirming that I am member coming there to say my membership is not active and the reps and the branch works differently. I understand to certain extend however the person working at Virgin Active was cc in the mail with the arrival the consultant highly understood where we coming from but could not assure us a bag .I understand a bag might sound as if it is the lowest form of reward or the reason I signed up however in my experience anything in todays life worthy of something brings joy . I got no assurity or even a leap of faith to say lady the minute ur activation appear on our system I will put your bag aside I had to be content with the fact that this is how things work . I’m my experience any representative of a certain company or services should have the assurity of the customer and yes their customers service suck. And if it is one place to bring relaxation to a person and they can’t give us that why should I attend their facility.

The equipment is out dated and always put of service. The air-condition is never working properly. The roof is leaking for years now. If I could train somewhere else I would.

The gym itself is good and has great facilities. Classes are wonderful and so are the trainers. But a fair warning, the sales consultants are incredibly elusive and the customer service is terrible.

The price (for a contract) can go up at any time (something that they don't tell you upfront). You can't pay in cash if you want to because the system is always "offline". The app hardly ever works or tracks your visits. You'll wait at least 30 minutes to speak with someone on the customer service line and they'll just refer you from one place to another until you give up or give in.

When trying to cancel the contract (with the knowledge that you have to pay 4 months worth of premiums to cancel) you have to call them. But guess what... THEY DON'T ANSWER. "They'll call you back soon" No. They'll call you back in a week. And even then. It'll be a different person so you will have to repeat your complaint and start the process from the very beginning.

You're better off just joining Zone Fitness or a local gym. Save yourself the time and money. Its not cheap. It's not worth it either.
