Extremely Bad Service
Western Cape Liquor Authority, never sent me an invoice or notification for their fees for 2022. Am i expected to guess what the increase is? They apparently sent it to the wrong email address! So now i must pay a penalty of R2501.00 because of their mistake. Is this another state owned company which has been corrupted?

Waiting to speak to an agent, estimated time 1 min, but it says that for 10 min and they suppose to be open still only closing at 16:00 but no answers. But they allow bribes and people with no liquor license to continue operating, while other have to pay licenses every year. Where can I get someone to close a bag down operating with out a license??? Because the Liquor board seems to not do anything about this!!!!

Phone just rings and rings..........and rings. I don't understand.
1 - Star is far more than they deserve.

I hope you can take feedback from people and put into place actionables to improve your non-exisitng service.

I cannot give a single star as I am battling for 6 months now to get hold of our liquor licenses which was already paid in December 2016. No response whatsoever after numerous e-mails - even submitted a request on the website.

Just had the officials at my restaurant checking to see if I'd paid my liquor license renewal (I have) and then I caught the official littering outside on the street. When I asked him to please put his litter in the bin he refused. Enforcing one law but contravening another ?

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. They leave you on hold for endless periods of time. And when you do get through to someone, they don't give you the full information, causing you to have to come back / phone back later. If people knew what they were talking about, that would help too.

They get a lot of criticism but I've only had good experiences. Amanda always very helpful.
