Yindee's is a beautiful and authentic experience. It creates a warm and serene atmosphere in which the busling city and passing cars outside become soothing and decorative lights within large windows. The floor seating creates a sense of being grounded, connecting you with the earth, yourself and your company. There are many enchanting cultural artifacts and beautiful aesthetic moments throughout the restuarant - from floral winding steel work at the entrance to hand carved wooden relief sculptures, bringing texture into the rooms. We started with an amazing jasmine tea, that filled the senses and cleared the mind. Our starters and mains were beautifully presented and deloscious. I highly recommend this wholistically satisfying experience.

I thought this place was fantastic.
Been to Thailand and Vietnam many many times and Yindee’s was just as nice if not better.
Food was 5star. Service was great.
Mojito was probably the best I’ve had.
Not a bad thing to say.
Highly recommended!

I was excited to order the spicy chicken under "chef's recommendations," especially because it gave me the option to choose mild, medium or hot (I chose hot), but I was surprised that it was bland and didn't have any heat to it. It sort of felt like last week's leftovers. I want to root for this place because there aren't a lot of good Thai options in SA, but I'm going to have to try again another day.

Really enjoyed the food selections and the environment was really nice. Food portions were generous. Cocktails weren't available on the night, but would be very interested to try them.
The restaurant offers traditional inside and outside seating arrangements in a well decorated, spacious venue, but also has a large room of floor seating on cushions.

Consistently delicious thai food, been here a few years back and now still as good, if not better than it was back then.
Fragrant and generously spiced dishes, well sized portions from starters to desserts, delicious sauces and accompaniments.
Staff are also very friendly and accommodating.
Would highly recommend making a booking for a tasty thai dinner (booking via website is quick and easy).

We wanted to try something new and chose to go here because they have been around a while and there aren't many thai style restos around. It was underwhelming, to say the least. The menus and table were sticky which made me question cleanliness levels. Although the food was ok, I don't think you get value for money for the experience. The staff were stand-offish, barely greeted us and did not even come to check on us during the meal. We felt like unannounced/unwelcomed guests. Will not go back.

Wife and I had lovely spring rolls and satay chicken starters followed by great chilli duck stir fry and chicken penang curry. Great waitress too. Evening spoiled at the end when my wife ordered the Ice Cream Cheesecake. It was rock hard she could not even stick her spoon in. We then told waitress is was rock hard and cannot eat it and would like it removed from the bill. The owner microwaved it a few seconds and sent it back and it was still rock hard. Waitress told us that the owner would not remove it from our bill and we should wait for it to thaw. That would of taken hours. I she then said they would take it from her pay. I went to owner as he would not come upstairs and told him the issues. He said it comes from fa tory that way. I told him we are not paying and he better not take it out of his staff wages. This left a very sour taste in my mouth after a lovely evening. Will not return.
