Chilled place (Victorian style house) to grab a beer during the week. Right in the middle of vibey Kloof St. Staff is super carring and friendly. Nice terrace to chill during summer months. Recommended for chilled drinks

The food was good. We went there on game night, pretty nice. Reasonably priced as well.

Nice vibe and good beer. I love attending the Quiz Nights on Tuesdays. Portion sizes (excluding pizzas) are really small, however and take quite a while to prepare. The food itself was good.

Under new management. Called "Public House" these days. Most employees are from the modular club, which closed down. So the vibe is a little different, and so I suppos are the prices. It's not a techno club anymore, but defs still a good hangout spot.

Great vibe, well-priced drinks (incredibly fast drink service), and all the food was great - with the exception of the Beef Chilli Bowl. R125 for a plate of dry corn chips with a small helping of mince on the side. Definitely feel hard done by. Would still recommend the restaurant, however.

Ah yes, the old Vic Bar. Newly renovated and looking spiffy as The Striped Horse on Kloof, this is the place to watch up u0026 coming local music on a Wednesday night. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious. Its a classic Cape Town venue, chilled vibes and lack of pretentiousness usually when I visit. Make a stop there and try out the Striped Horse lager, you can't go wrong.
