Couldn’t have been happier with our experience here. We both got Asian inspired dishes that had delicious flavors. And the desserts (brownie and sticky toffee pudding) were so good they might have ruined all future desserts for us ????

The staff was great too- James offered helpful recommendations and the manager went out of his way to find a spot for us when we arrived for an early dinner without a reservation.

Extremely friendly staff, nice vibes and food. It’s definitely one of the best meals we’ve had during our stay in Cape Town. Grilled kudu loin really amazed us. It’s worth a try ????

I went to Black Sheep Restaurant with great expectations after reading all of the positive reviews. Upon booking I was told it wouldn't be a problem to accommodate our gluten- and dairy-free requirements. Overall the service was very friendly and the kitchen accommodated us without issue. Sadly, the only dissapointment was the food and for this, I cannot give more than 3 stars. Highly under-seasoned potatoes, overcooked carpenter fish and bland veg. Some spice or zest definitely needed to elevated the dish. My friend's swordfish curry had no curry heat and both of our dishes were lukewarm when they arrived at our table. Otherwise a pleasant experience and they have some good wine options :)

We have been there twice (so far) and the Black Sheep is my favorite among the restaurants in Cape Town in terms of value for money. You can only wish for something like that in Germany. Keep it up and see you soon ????

One of the best spots in Cape Town hands down. Exquisite dishes that are delicious and freshly prepared. Service is fast u0026 friendly. Highly reccomended

Really enjoyed this restaurant, the mains were amazing the starters decent but nothing mind blowing. Service was gd, they were quite busy so took a bit longer to get drinks but that was ok.
